University Performance Section

 The main tasks

 a.  Generalization of the evaluation files received from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (The university performance, the faculty performance evaluation, the university leadership performance, the faculty members’ performance evaluation, the employee performance evaluation) to the Departments, centers, and directories within the University, in addition to keep the following-up of access assurance to accurate information.

 B.  checking and archiving of the files that are received electronically from the managers of Quality Assurance Sections of the different Departments.

 C.  Returning the completed performance evaluation files to the Department of Performance Evaluation/ Directorate of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation/ The Apparatus of Supervision and Scientific Evaluation/ The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research within the specified time.

 D.  Reviewing and updating of the database for each of the aforementioned evaluation files prepared by the Department of Performance Evaluation/ Directorate of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation/ The Apparatus of Supervision and Scientific Evaluation.

 The interesting of higher university leaders in the importance of applying the fundamentals of quality assurance in all aspects of the university work, and with direct support by the president of the UoT and the cooperation of the faculty staff, the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department and its divisions in the engineering and scientific  department and centers endeavor to improve its work. Furthermore, the department works hardly to establish the quality assurance principles among all affiliates through self evaluation practices in accordance with national and international standards, as well as , evaluating the teaching staff performance . Moreover, the university performance is annually evaluated according to the national classification criteria in order to obtain programmatic and institutional accreditation and to strengthen the position (ranking) of higher education at the local, regional and international levels
